    Name: Malang

Cast: Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapur, Elli AvrRam, Kunal Khemu

    Release Date: 7 February 2020

    Rating: 6.5/10

  • In this film, none of the characters are uni-dimensional, which makes them interesting
  • It begins well with a power-packed action scene, and dives straight into the drama
  • It is good blend of glam, games and thrills
  • Even though it is high on style with good performances and thrilling moments but has an average storyline
  • Script’s accessibility to attain certain things makes some sequences predictable & a whole lot of spoilers are already out in the trailer
#2

    Name: Ludo

Cast: Abhishek Bachchan, Adity Raoy Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanya Malhotra

    Release Date: 12 November 2020

    Rating: 7.6/10

  • Ludo is interesting and entertaining in parts and consists of unpredictable scenes and bravura performances
  • Ludo talks about 'sin and virtue' and 'second chances'.
  • Anurag Basu's hold on his hyperlink cinema is worth a praise
  • The storyline fails to reach its full potential due to dull screenplay
  • The narrative lacks a sense of urgency, moving at its own pace and the movie relies more on telling rather than showing which makes it difficult for the viewer to care about the onscreen action
#3

    Name: Cargo

Cast: Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Biswapati Sarkar, Konkona Sen Sharma

    Release Date: 19 October 2019

    Rating: 5.7/10

  • Cargo is a stylish, thought-provoking and well-acted alternative to the influx of 'straggler-in-space' films dominant in Western filmmaking.
  • It is an impressively made film that looks great and has a ton of ideas and emotions it wishes to capture and explore
  • It's refreshing to see something new and unique come from the Hindi film industry
  • The film's pace could have been faster. And the plot could've been imagined better
  • SCargo is, in the end, a muddled concoction of many interesting ideas that don't flow together
#4

    Name: Love Aaj Kal

Cast: Sara Ali Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Arushi Sharma

    Release Date: 14 February 2020

    Rating: 4.8/10

  • Love Aaj Kal' sets off to celebrate complex characters and relationships, with the universal emotion of love at its core
  • The movie is strictly for the youth and romantic at heart.
  • Despite a good performance by everyone, the cupid misses the mark
  • It creates some emotional moments, but doesn’t quite leave you spellbound
  • Love Aaj Kal does not speak to the present. It does not speak to the past. It speaks precisely to one person: the beleaguered Tamasha fan who might just show up for a refill. It’s the unholiest of cash-grabs — and an all-time low for its writer-director
#5

    Name: Indoo Ki Jawani

Cast: Adita Seal, Kiara Advani, Mallika Dua, Shivam Kabar

    Release Date: 11 December 2020

    Rating: 2.5/10

  • The movie is a coming-of-age story of a girl who experience life through misadventures & dating apps
  • Kiara Advani tries to spice things up and Aditya Seal does his bit to shore up the flimsy affair but to no avail
  • Logic is often scarified at the altar of comedy and entertainment, but the problem with this story is that it’s highly preposterous and profoundly silly
  • The comedy in becomes increasingly laboured as the plot progresses, and the lesson on cross-border brotherhood, well-intentioned though it is, has the subtlety of a scream
  • I didn't like the movie and am now regretting my decision. That precious time could have been spent dping something better.
